What data we process
- When you order: name, email address, delivery address, payment details (through the payment provider, we never see card numbers) and your order history.
- When you join the waitlist or newsletter: your email address and the time you signed up.
- When you visit the site: technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, via cookies.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Fulfilling your order and handling the warranty: performance of the contract.
- Keeping our records and invoices: legal obligation (seven-year tax retention period).
- Emails about the launch and offers: your consent. You can withdraw it with one click in every email.
- Improving the site and preventing abuse: legitimate interest.
Who we share data with
Only with parties needed to deliver: our shop software (Shopify), the payment provider, the carrier, our fulfilment centre and our email software. We have a data processing agreement with each of them. We never sell your data.
Retention periods
We keep order data for seven years because of the tax retention obligation. We keep your email address for marketing until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may access your data, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, object to processing and have your data transferred. Email roel@moyu.rocks and you will hear from us within a month. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Cookies
We place functional cookies that are needed to make the shop work. We only place analytics and marketing cookies after you have given consent in the cookie banner. You can change that choice at any time.
Security
The site uses a secure connection (TLS) and payments run through a certified payment provider.
