About this notebook
A notebook for people who take their notes outdoors.
The pages are not paper. They are made from quarried limestone, ground to a powder, bound with a small share of HDPE and pressed into sheets under heat. No pulp, no process water, no bleach. Because there is no fibre to absorb water, a page does not cockle or go transparent when it rains. Wipe it dry and keep writing.
You write on it with the pen you already own. Ballpoint and pencil are the sweet spot, because they grab the slightly chalky surface straight away. Gel and fountain ink work too, but take longer to dry since the sheet absorbs nothing.
Inside the cover
Space for your name and a finder's reward at the front. A 15 cm ruler at the back, and a short account of how stone paper is made.
Where the limit sits
Water resistant is not waterproof. Rain, spray and wet hands leave it alone. We have not measured where the limit sits exactly. We will as soon as the proof arrives, and the result goes here.
